March 9th: tree pollens observed earlier than usual.

My first pollen count for March 2022 had some unique findings with several tree pollens seen earlier than the usual pollination season. This included Pine tree pollen (21 grains/m3), which is typically not seen until June most of the time. I also noted Walnut tree pollen (15 grains/m3), which is typically seen in late April and May, and Birch tree pollen, which is earlier than usual, too. Mold spores were much higher than usually found in March at 924 spores/m3. Usual mold levels are typically less than 200 spores/m3 until the warmer days of April. My conclusion is that these levels started earlier than I have seen before in this area, likely indicative of the warm weather influence on the onset of pollen and mold spore levels. Dr. Dvorin
